Or Hahechal/Light of the Blessed Chamber
"Behold there are days arriving when I will send forth a hunger in the land. Not a hunger for bread or a thirst for water, but rather to hear the words of The Eternal One"
(Amos 8:11)
Many today search for spiritual understanding and enlightenment, often turning away from Torah and Judaism, mistakenly assuming that Torah is nothing but rules and rituals. Others are committed fully to Torah observance, but are unable to understand the meaning of the actions they perform.
There have always been deep spiritual traditions within Judaism which address the most fundamental religious and philosophical concerns: What are we doing here? What is the nature of reality? What is our place in the world? Who is G-d and how can we relate to G-d's infinity? What is the right path for persons to take in this world? What do the commandments and observances of Judaism mean? How are these meanings universally relevant to all places and times?
Over the years we have worked to build a center that will help sincere seekers find an understanding of the Torah's inner dimension, especially as expressed in the teachings of the Kabbalists and Hassidic masters.
